Goat cheese
sandwich ingredients:
- ¼ cup basil leaves
- ¼ cup baby spinach
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon tarragon
- 1 teaspoon capers
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves minced roasted garlic
- 4 fresh sliced Portobello mushrooms
- 8 ounces sliced goat cheese
- Table salt
- Cracked pepper
Simply add the spinach, basil, tarragon, vinegar, capers, garlic and olive oil to a blender. Blend until it is pureed. Rub the mushrooms with olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper on it. Grill the mushrooms for 4 to 5 minutes. Spoon the pureed sauce over the mushrooms while it’s on the grill and grill for an additional 4 minutes. Add the goat cheese. Grill the loaves of bread you have and put the mixture you made on the bread.

- 5 ounces deli cut pastrami
- 2 slices of pumpernickel bread
- 2 ounces of Dijon mustard
- Sliced dill pickles
- 1 sliced large yellow onion
- 2-3 ounces of sweet pickled coleslaw.
Just spread the Dijon mustard on both sides of the pumpernickel bread. Put the pastrami in and top it with the slices of dill pickle, yellow onions. Put the coleslaw on top and enjoy.
You can also have the poor man’s sandwich as a way to enjoy your bread machine baked bread.
Poor man’s sandwich ingredients
1/3 cup of peanut butter- 8 slices of seed bread
- Slices of dill pickle
- 1 sliced onion
- 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
Spread the peanut butter evenly on the slices of bread and place the pickles and onion on the peanut butter. Spread the mayonnaise on the other half of the bread. This makes a cheap and delicious sandwich from the bread that you made with your bread maker.
